On the occasion of the 10th edition of the annual international meetings of United Cities France [Cités Unies France], entitled “Meetings on International Action of Local Governments”, held on 2-3 July 2019 in Paris, France, UCLG convened a working session on gender equality.

Gender equality begins by ensuring that the needs and experiences of women and girls are being effectively integrated into every society. As UCLG we demand the Right to the City be a reality for all women.
EDD 2019 will take place on 18 & 19 June in Brussels. This meeting is an opportunity to bring the development community together each year to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.
