The fourth edition of the World Smart Cities Awards will be held in 2014.
This pioneering initiative recognizes the most ambitious Smart City strategies, the most advanced projects and the most innovative initiatives around the world fostering the development of the Smart City concept.
The aim of the award is to nurture the development of future cities thus enhancing quality of life, sustainability, innovation, creativity, competitiveness, and efficient management and administration. The World Smart Cities Awards search for cities, businesses and entrepreneurs, research centers, public or non-governmental organizations or consortiums (public-private) with innovative Smart City visions and solutions.
All projects and solutions that contribute to any of the areas covered in the Smart City Expo World Congress can be submitted for consideration. Three different categories of proposals will be considered for the award:City, Project and Innovative initiative.
