The Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation was created in 2011 at the Fourth High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan, Korea.
Global Partnership stakeholders work in synergy to strengthen the effectiveness of development co-operation by putting into practice four principles: (i) ownership of development priorities by developing countries; (ii) fo- cus on results; (iii) inclusive partnerships; and (iv) transparency and mutual accountability.
The 15th Steering Committee meeting of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation is taking place in Washington DC on 21-22 April 2018.
