Los días 5 y 6 de marzo de 2019, la ciudad de Milán acogió la reunión de representantes de los alcaldes U20 -también conocidos como "sherpas"- para preparar la Cumbre de Alcaldes U20 de 2019 que se celebrará en Tokio y debatir las prioridades políticas de los mensajes dirigidos al G-20.
