COVID-19 has had a major impact on towns, cities, territories, and their citizens deepening structural inequalities and worsening poverty and has also called into question many of the certainties we had before the pandemic.
The role of cities and regions in achieving the 2030 agenda and the African Union's "Vision 2063" for Africa was a central theme during the event, visible in the nearly 100 thematic sessions organized during this summit.
