On Nov 12th-13th 2013, the "Partnership for Democratic Local Governance in Southeast-Asia" (DELGOSEA) network held its "Regional Workshop on Building Cooperation Between DELGOSEA and ASEAN" at Aryaduta Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia. Around 30 members and standing committee members of the network joined the meeting. The first day was commenced by DELGOSEA's Standing Committee meeting and followed by Press Conference in the afternoon. As the result, various media joined the session and were active in investigating the workshop's objectives.
Accordingly, our workshop was on the news!. Some of the speakers, including our Secretary General, Dr.Bernadia Tjandradewi, were interviewed by TV journalists. The event was also published in Indonesia's reputable news agency's portal ANTARA.
The media are very interested in UCLG ASPAC activities as they concern with good governance issues. Secretariat team will update the media with result and recommendations from the two days-workshop
